Hi! Are you visiting this site from Boardman, Oregon, US? No problem, glad to have you on board. I'm just intrigued to know why I am getting so many hits from Boardman. I hope it's because you like what's on the site, or maybe the set-up. Whatever the reason, maybe you can visit my CONTACT page and drop me an email.
My interest in wildlife photography began as an aid to bird watching. I wanted something to refer to in identifying birds I had seen. Rapidly the quality of the photographs became paramount, resulting in an investment in better photographic equipment and a desire to share my pictures with others. During the past ten years or so I have been lucky enough to visit many countries and to enjoy not just the local birds, but other wildlife too. This site showcases some of my work.
If you are looking for a specific bird, choose the alphabetical LIST OF BIRDS which currently covers over 600 species. If the species you are looking for is there, click on the name which will take you to its family group and photograph.
Choose BIRDS if you just want to browse. Species are grouped in Families (according to the International Ornithologists' Convention) with each photo showing common and Latin name and where and when the photo was taken.
Please also browse the other wildlife categories in the menu.
Although my main photographic interest remains with wildlife, I have now added more categories including MONOCHROME, CREATIVE and LANDSCAPE photography. The majority of these photos will eventually be on sale as prints or mounted prints from the "SHOP".
All photos shown on the site measure 1000 pixels at their longest side. These can also be made available to buy. So if you would like to download a full-size photo, typically measuring over 3000 pixels longest side, please contact me to discuss a purchase fee (dependent on your intended use of the photo). Printed photos from the shop will of course be full-size, high definition copies when printed.
Whether you are buying or not, I hope you enjoy the photos. If you spot any misidentifications or other errors please do let me know via the email address in CONTACT.
